Why do I want to lose weight?  Why do you want to lose weight?

Some of these I no longer have to “endure”.  My highest weight of 310 was back in 2010. A t that I think I worried about a lot of these items.  That sounds strange “I think” but I never thought a lot about my weight.  I was still active.  I still had confidence.  But I think subconsciously it bothered me.  As I have come down in weight things change – but you remember some of those feelings of back when…  Many of these I still need to conquer!

  • To feel fitter
  • Better health
  • To make my knees happier with less weight
  • To feel less tired and have more energy
  • Clothes fit and look better
  • To feel more in control around food
  • Get rid of “cravings”
  • To be able to play with grandchildren
  • Sit in any chair
  • To motivate and inspire others for healthy living
  • I’m in the “clothing size” I want, I don’t care what the scale says
  • Don’t worry about getting stuck in a turn style – find a wider opening
  • So I’m comfortable in booths in a restaurant
  • So my pants won’t wear out between my legs while the rest of them are still in good shape
  • Get up off the floor without feeling like a turtle on their back
  • I want to be able to read the scale by just looking down, straight down
  • “Squeeze” behind someone without having them move
  • So I can go on rides at amusement parks again, without stuffing myself into the seat
  • Not need for an extender on an airplane
  • To not worry about a weight limit – boat, ride, chair, ride, etc.
  • Easily in and out of a bathtub
  • Towel goes all the way around me – without being a huge bath towel
  • Buy clothes at Costco – no “plus” sizes
  • To be less self-conscious
  • Sleep better
  • Not be “obese” on the doctor’s chart
  • To feel younger
  • To be “what you eat”
  • To run without exhaustion or knee giving out
  • Enjoy nature more – to hike better
  • To not WANT that dessert or cookie – no interest in sugar food
  • Not be camera shy or stand behind someone when picture is taken
  • To be able to say, ‘i wasn’t happy, so i did something about it’
  • BECAUSE I’M WORTH IT!
