Well, I met with the doctor again on friday – day 28.  In my initial 28 days I went down 17 pounds.  I really think 12 pounds because I gained 5 pounds during my 2 day overeat.  I feel good.  Doctor was surprised I didn’t lose more, but I have stayed true.  We tried to figure out if there was anything I ate, but I was on track the whole time.  She talks about how everyone loses differently and hormones play such a big part.  she did ask if I was okay to continue another 2 weeks – if the food was too restrictive.  But I am okay with the eating – so we’ll try another 2 weeks.  She did prescribe a water pill, which I started today.  I thought I would be in the bathroom a lot, but not so far.

She explained there is a 3 week maintenance support after the initial HCG time.   Which I will start in two weeks.  We talked about the semaglutide (sp?) in the future, she said that was no problem.  But she thinks we need to work on my hormones to have it be the most effective.  So we’ll see.

A lady I swim with has lost 68 pounds since August with the semaglutide injections.  She is going to Banner Gateway Weight Loss Center and has been pleased with the service.  Insurance pays for the dr visit, but the prescription/shots she has to pay for from  Strive Pharmacy.  So if the naturopathic doctor is too expensive, I will go to Banner Weight Loss center.  Their website talks about lots of weight loss options.

I had salmon on Sunday, which I thought was on the food list.  But realized today that it is now.  so that is the first item I have eaten not on the list.  That’s a bummer.
