I have been terrible since taking two vacations and being back on writing my daily blog.  My RBS (ridiculously big salad) OMAD (one meal a day) lifestyle is really a WOE (way of eating)!  I have settled in to a very comfortable routine eating somewhere around 1pm depending on our life.  I try to keep it pretty consistent, but sometimes it just has to be flexible between 12-2pm.  But once I have the first bite my “hour” starts.  If I snack or take a bite while I fix my lunch, then my hour starts. 🙂  In the 4 months I have been doing this I have probably gone over the 1 hour window 3 times.  Sometimes I come really close…  Amanda says to feel like Thanksgiving full but not overly stuffed.  Most every day I feel Thanksgiving full!

What I find the most interesting is that I make goodies (grain/sugar free) for my husband, or cook something really good – if it’s not in my one hour window I don’t even think about it.  If I want to make cookies and want some “cookie dough” then I make that just before my “eating window”  or if I want keto waffles – that happens during my window.  If I want something specific to eat – all low carb/keto — pizza, pasta, cake, pretzels, bagel dogs, etc.  It is only consumed during my one-hour window with my salad/veggies. 🙂

Thought I would show you some pictures of some of my meals.  I have a tendency to eat before I remember to take pictures.

I tried making some low carb bread in our bread machine the other day – it was okay, but still needs adjustment.  But I did make a panini sandwich the other day with a burger, it was quite good although I could only eat half, since I was so full.  I tried a creamed spinach that sounded great to me, but I wasn’t thrilled with it.  I wasn’t getting enough fat, so I now eat half an avocado each day.  I made Jeles Pretzel recipe and wrapped my sausage in it – so they were like bagel dogs.  They were very good.

My favorite salad is still the Cheeseburger with the Big Mac dressing.
