Sunday – today was brats and salad – Memorial Day Week-end.  My salad was 6 cups of greens – combination of romaine, iceberg and spinach.  Added 2 oz of cheese and 1 egg.  Leftover ranch dressing.  Grilled two brats with dill relish, little no sugar ketchup and mustard.  Very good lunch and I ate it all.  It does take me almost an hour to eat it!! The brats were only 190 calories each.  My meal was under 1000 calories.

I tried the sweet and spicy herbal tea today as a cold drink.  I really like it hot.  So today I made it, let it cool and poured it over ice.  I didn’t like it.  I am not a black tea or cold tea drinker at all.  But I do like hot herbal tea.  Thought I would try it cold.  It wasn’t for me.  🙂

We are kicked back watching TV today.  Rode bikes this morning, grilled out and now kicked back.  I do want to make some cookies and shortbread for my husband.  I do all baking with almond flour and no sugar.  So if I want any of it, I will eat it during my one hour window.  I don’t have a problem that.  But like Amanda says, my body is going to use as fuel my calories first and then my fat.  so I don’t want a ton of calories, if I want to lose weight.
