It’s been a couple tough days on the brain – this morning I watched an Amanda video that really helped. She talked about making it a big goal. If you make little goals say 10 pounds, maybe in your mind the 10 pounds isn’t a big enough deterrent from eating that donut. I have thought about that a lot today, as my lunch wasn’t quite as good as some, and my stomach growled a lot. I had to stay the “grind” and keep going. I decided on minimum 75 pounds. So that is what I am heading towards – keep my eye on the goal. Also working on picturing myself but hard to do when it’s been so many years since I was that weight – I don’t know quite how to picture myself. So I am just going to think of all the positive things that will happen when I am that weight…easier getting up and down, knees happier, smaller sizes in my closet, walking easier, biking easier, good example for our kids, keep up with our grandkids, live healthy, shop regular sizes — all good things for my body.
Today I had 2 griddle cakes, cauliflower/cheese, RBS was romaine, cheese and 3 oz burger with salad dressing. Griddle cakes included: 3 T almond flour, 1 egg, 1/4 cup cheese, 1/2 cup spinach leaves, seasonings – mixed and two griddle cakes in my mini griddle. I had 2 scoops collagen mixed in with 2 T vanilla premiere shake and 4 oz almond milk – whipped and served over ice. It is a nice treat to have with my lunch.
